A friendly and professional office with a high ethical patient-focused approach.
Experience and Skills Your role will be vitally important to keeping our practice running smoothly.
The right candidate must have excellent communication skills, and should have at least one year of experience working in a Medical or Dental Office, familiar with insurance and billing, however, we are willing to train the right candidate.
The candidate should also provide friendly customer service to patients.
Basic computer skills required to operate medical program, and Microsoft outlook, excel/word.
Daily tasks include but are not limited to:
- Optimizing provider schedule and patient satisfaction with efficient scheduling - Ensuring availability of treatment information by retrieving and updating patient records - Verifying financial records and collecting patient charges while filing and expediting third-party claims - Maintaining office inventory and equipment by anticipating supply needs and expediting supply orders - Verifying patient information and insurance benefits - Maintaining safe and clean work environment in accordance with OSHA standards - Presenting treatment plans and financing options - Scheduling appointments/ Appointment Confirmations - General office tasks (scanning, faxing, emails, etc.
) - Entering insurance information into patients' accounts.
Salary and Benefits Compensation ranges from $18-25/hour, based on experience and job performanceeven more with benefits, bonuses & incentives! Health insurance Public Holidays Paid time off Annual salary increases 6-8 hour shift - Monday to Friday only (No weekends) Continuing education including OSHA, CPR and lunch-and-learns Job Types:
