40 hoursPosition SummarySURVICE Engineering is seeking a Database Administrator to support our customer in the US Army Intelligence Community.
This individual should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, highly self-motivated, and be able to work individually or with team members on various tasks across multiple integrated systems.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities Maintain version control over database changesApplying STIGs to a databaseUpdate database structuresUse database server logsConduct backup checks and tests in the development environmentConduct logon checks using metacommands and system tablesConduct configuration checksVerify Transaction Log archiving checks QualificationsBachelors degree and at least 8 years of relevant database administration experience.
Experienced in the following:
PostgreSQL or MySQL Oracle or SQL ServerEnterprise experience, especially for database-related infrastructureReplication implementation, testing, monitoring, failover, and disaster recoveryDevelop process; All 3GL and 2nd Stored ProcGitlab or DI2ESTIG processesBasic Linux commands for database activitiesSome Geospatial database knowledge would be usefulAbout UsSURVICE Engineering is a nationally recognized, single-source engineering service provider for Government and Industry organizations involved in all phases of the systems engineering process.
